Dark Ocean Games is an Indie Game Development Studio founded by Fabio G Thomas and based in the UK and Canada, with a primary focus on creating visual novels that raise awareness about mental health issues such as drug addiction, suicide, depression, and self-acceptance. In addition to developing games, we also write books that explore similar themes. 

Our mission is to use the power of storytelling to educate and inspire people to take action towards positive change. We believe that by creating engaging and thought-provoking content, we can help break down the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage more open and honest conversations about these important issues.
 

Our team brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with their own unique perspectives on mental health. Many of us have firsthand experience grappling with mental health issues, including depression and anxiety. We know firsthand how isolating and challenging these struggles can be, and we want to help others feel less alone.
 

At the same time, we recognize that not everyone who needs support is able to seek it out. That's why we're committed to reaching out to those who may not even know they need help. We want to create a world where mental health is destigmatized and openly discussed, where everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive.

Our strong background in mental health research means that we're always staying up-to-date with the latest findings and insights. This allows us to create content that is both evidence-based and engaging, and that resonates with a wide range of audiences.

We are committed to developing games and books that can have a constructive impact on people, inspiring them to seek help or take strides towards self-improvement. To fulfill this commitment, we donate a portion of our profits to organizations that provide mental health services, with a particular focus on those working towards suicide prevention.
